General CPSP Resources:

Medi-Cal:

  • Medi-Cal: The California Medi-Cal website provides updated information affecting providers and patients. To access online or in-person training about billing, visit the Medi-Cal Outreach & Education page. For questions about billing, contact the Telephone Service Center (TSC) at 1-800-541-5555.
  • Presumptive Eligibility (PE): A Medi-Cal program designed to provide immediate, temporary coverage for prenatal care to low-income pregnant women pending a formal Medi-Cal application. For more information, please call 1-800-541-5555 and select 1 for provider, select 4 for technical help desk then select 2 for PE for pregnant women.
  • Report Medi-Cal fraud: You can report Medi-Cal fraud anonymously by completing an online form or by calling 1-800-822-6222.

    Syphilis in Women and Congenital Syphilis  


    Pertussis (Whooping Cough)

    Pertussis is on the rise. We strongly recommend that CPSP providers offer/refer pregnant patients for Tdap during 3rd trimester to protect newborns from pertussis. Visit CPSP website or to learn more about what your office can do to prevent pertussis.
